At The House of Nadar, every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans from rural India, making each creation beautifully unique. Slight variations in weave, embroidery, or print are a natural part of the handmade process and add to the charm of your product — they are not considered defects. Unlike machine-made items, handcrafted pieces carry the warmth and individuality of human touch.

Despite these variations, at The House of Nadar, we stand by the quality of our handcrafted products.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, eligible products can be exchanged only in accordance with our policy. Please note that these terms apply to all products ordered through our official website and not to purchases made at offline stores or third-party platforms.


What Items can be exchanged?

Exchanges are offered in cases where;

  • Customers receive incorrect products (such as incomplete sets or wrong styles),

  • Incorrect sizes, or

  • Items that are damaged upon delivery. 


Exchange Policy 

  • Items are considered for exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery only if there is a manufacturing defect, as determined post a thorough Quality Check process, or item(s) received is different from its description.

  • Exchanges are done free of cost if wrong products (incomplete sets or incorrect style), wrong sizes (size other than that ordered), or damaged products are received by the customer. However, The House of Nadar reserves the right to levy shipping charges on cases that come under legal scrutiny.

  • Exchanges are permitted for sizes and products of the same price.


  • Once we receive your exchange shipment, the replacement order will be processed and dispatched within 3 – 5 business days.


Eligibility for Exchange 

  • To qualify for an exchange, the item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in its original saleable condition with the barcode and MRP tags intact.

  • Products must have their original seal, barcode, and tags attached. Items without these or showing signs of wear, wash, alteration, or damage after purchase will not be eligible for exchange. (The House of Nadar reserves the right to make the final decision on exchange eligibility.)

  • Exchanges are permitted for sizes and products of the same price.

  • The replaced items will be delivered to the address provided in the original invoice.

Requirements for Exchange & Cancellation

To initiate an exchange or cancellation, please:

  • Please inform us at +918288851222 or email us at support@thehouseofnadar.com within 7 days of delivery to book an exchange request.

  • Ensure that when sending an email, you  include the following details:

  • Order Number

  • Courier Docket Number or AWB Number

  • Reason for Exchange

  • Product Barcode Tags should be in good condition.

  • We require product images and tags in the following cases:

  • Defective product received – only product image required.

  • Wrong product received – Both product & BAR CODE Tag images required.

  • Wrong size received - Both product & BAR CODE Tag images required.

  • Incomplete order received – Only the BAR CODE Tag image is required.

  • Kindly include your order number in the subject line to help us process your exchange or cancellation quickly.

  • Please ensure that all returned or exchanged items are securely packed to avoid any damage or loss during transit.


Cancellation Policy 

We offer a simple and hassle-free cancellation process for our customers. You can cancel your order anytime before it is shipped by submitting an online request through the Cancellation link available in the website footer.

Once your cancellation is confirmed, the full order amount will be refunded to your original payment method.


Refund Policy 

In case of cancellation, your full payment would be transferred to your original payment method within 2 business days. We request that you wait for 2 days. 

As mentioned before, exchanges are done free of cost only in case of incomplete sets or incorrect style, wrong sizes (size other than that ordered), or damaged products are received by the customer.
